Best Gigs 2014

In 2014, I got to see bands that I thought I would never ever see live – McLusky, Neutral Milk Hotel, Violent Femmes, Neil Young as well as various other acts that I have sang along to in various bedrooms in various houses for over half of my life. I’m not sure where the nostalgia ended and the quality of the gig began but it didn’t matter. I was screaming along the words. I was living in the moment whenever that moment may have been. The following videos are inadequate of course – they may well be from the actual gig or the same tour or in some other tenuous way linked to the performance I witnessed.
